    Asset Activity report / list view with frequency

    Good afternoon, is there a way to show the frequency of scheduled activities in the list view / a report? I’d like to have a list that shows all activities scheduled over the next year and whether they’ve got an annual frequency. When I add the “period” column; it just says “fixed”.The activity record then states for the period, e.g. “The recurring period is set for 1 Year”. Is there any way to show this frequency in the list view or pull that into a report for all activities?Thanks, Anna

    I have attempted to set up a dashboard to monitor incidents and occurrences. This is what I have so far…The issue that I have is with the combo boxes and the subsequent data displayed. Here, the combo boxes are set to show August 2025 records, the pie charts all show the correct number of records (9), chart 1 and grid 1 do not (you can see here that the grid shows records from May and July).The combo boxes have 'incident' as a data source as do the pie charts. Chart 1 and Grid 1 have 'occurrences' as a data source we have to set the grid up on the occurrences data source to access all of the required fields.If I amend the data source for the combo boxes to 'occurrences' then all of the subsequent plots show incorrect amounts of data.Additionally, the hyperlinks that we were provided do not work

    Q-Pulse Mobile App - First time install

    Hi everyone,I have being asked to get the IQM (AKA Q-Pulse) Mobile app up and going for Audit.  I got IT to place the App onto an Ipad.  The screen at the very start of my Log In. asks for the Server URL.  To which my IT have put the DRS link.  When I then they the Advance Username and password I get a message stating UNAUTHORIZED - You are not authorized to connect to this server.  Please use advanced settings to enter a network account.I was so excited to get this for Audit but 7 days later and the joy has left me. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.  Thanks in advance.Version 7.3 in an apple ipad i think.  I am not tech minded.

    CA/PA Edit Additional Fields - Permission

    Despite having assigned a user group the ‘CA/PA Edit Additional Fields Permission’ in the CA/PA Module, the entire Additional Fields sections remains greyed out for them. I have populated it with a dropdown to select from in User Field 1 and I can use the dropdown on records with my system admin access, but the users cannot regardless of whether I add the permission to the dynamic role(s) or their relevant static permission group. Any idea what’s preventing this from working???

    Broken Rules: Only one scheduled activity item is allowed per activity definition

    Staff have recently reported being unable to complete certain cleaning activities in a specific location.To summarize: we have four distinct cleaning tasks (e.g., Cleaning – Section A, Cleaning – Section B, etc.) assigned to various staff members within the same location. Up until two weeks ago, these tasks were being completed without issue. However, since then, a “Broken Rules” error message has been appearing when staff attempt to complete these activities. As a user with admin privileges, I’ve been manually completing the tasks on their behalf, but we haven’t yet identified the root cause of the issue.Does anyone have insight into what might be causing this or suggestions for a potential solution?Thanks!

    Hi All,My name is Tamena Yousaf and I am leading the implementation of our new Q-Pulse Electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) at JointMedica as an Interim Consultant to assist them with going live with Q-pulse. I have previously implemented eQMS’s using Q-pulse and MasterControl.  Upon joining JointMedica, I have found that the level of support has been limited which has caused us delays and leaves us with unanswered questions.We plan to go live with the Documents Module mid November, we currently use desktop client, version 7.7.0.0 and are considering using the Web version instead as this desktop client version is different to what I have implemented previously as does not appear as user friendly to what I am used to.  Upon requesting Ideagen for support to access the Web version link we are seeing delays in response times and support - is this due to being on the Essentials package?Can anyone advise and support us while we look into upgrading to a

    Hi all,When using Documents Module on the desktop client, the document owners are no longer able to add keyword to the documents that they are owner of. Does anybody know how to remedy this?

    Can we visually differentiate Live & Training Environments?

    Hi All,Does anyone know of a simple way to visually differentiate the Live & Training environments that we have access to?I’m regularly testing changes in the Training environment before implementing them in the Live environment, but it’s very easy to mix them up when having both open simultaneously and switching between them.The Training environment does show “training.<databaseID>.ideagenpulse.com” at the start of the URL in the browser’s address bar, but it’s a subtle difference. In the Windows Client, there’s no easy way to tell which database you’re in, as far as I can see (only via Help > About).For the Web, being able to change the header banner colour would be all that’s needed. For the Client, I’m not sure what solution would be practical.Thanks,Martyn

    Help with Document Review Access Issue

    Hi everyone,I'm working on the document module and trying to set up access for a user to complete document reviews via the Review tab, but I’m running into an issue.The user is part of the "Manager - Documents" group with the following permissions: “document review”, document review action complete”, document review action edit”. The user has secondary licence..Despite this setup, the user cannot complete reviews from the Review tab,  as the action options enabled in the “Review” tab. Does anyone know if there are any additional permissions or settings needed, or maybe the secondary licence be a limitation?  Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be appreciated!Thanks in advance!

    Document Numbering with Leading Zeros

    Does anyone know if it possible for a Document Type assigned with a document numbering prefix to automatically assign the next sequential number but formatted with leading zeros (fixed number of digits). For example SOP00005, SOP00134, etc. I seem to only be able to get SOP5, SOP134.  We really need to ensure the total number of characters for document ID is consistent of always being 8 characters. We are currently using version 7.8.0.

    How to delete a Dashboard?

    Hello,I’m a relatively new user of IQM 7. We are in the process of building up content for the business before it goes on wider release to our user base.I’ve dabbled with creating Dashboards, and while I have no problem with the designer functionality, understanding the data sources can be a challenge. Having created a couple of dashboards with the intention of displaying a particular type of information, I could not then find the data source I needed. So now there are redundant entries in the Dashboard list.Is there a way to delete a Dashboard from the list after it has been created? I cannot find any way to do this. I have System Wide Access.We are running version 7.8.0.0 at present.Thanks.

    Adjusting default review date in Document Module

    In the Document module, we currently have two date fields: Active Date and Review Date. At the moment, the Review Date is automatically set to one year from the last review date.Could someone help me with the following questions:  Is it possible to change the default review period from one year to two years, in line with our management system requirements? Is there a way to disable the automatic setting of the Review Date altogether, so that it can be left blank? Any guidance on configuring these settings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Training timing for SOPs?

    In our current process, training for SOPs (“read and understood”) is documented in the eQMS. However, training is only assigned after documents become effective, which has been identified by auditors to be a gap between SOP implementation and staff training.Has anyone implemented an effective system or workflow for pre-effective-date training in the eQMS?

    Hello--I am wondering if it is possible to link a document from the documents module to a sharepoint page.  In the past we used sharepoint as our QMS system, so we were able to provide a link on our homepage so that team members could reference the document directly. Is it possible to provide a link directly to the current revision from the documents module?

    Asset module - use as a forward-planning tool for equipment replacement?

    Hello,Is there anyone using IQM or Q-Pulse that has adapted the Asset module to also provide a way to monitor and manage equipment replacement?I come from a large Pathology company with a significant equipment list - many of the items on the list have a specific lifespan, with planned obsolescence required to ensure replacements are forecast and obtained in a timely manner.The obsolescence plan is generally based on three elements - projected lifespan, current condition, and criticality.  These elements are assessed and recorded on a regular basis so budget for replacement can be allocated.Is there anyone with experience of using the Asset module to help monitor, record and report this?   Cheers Tony

    "Document Includes File Extension that is Prohibited"

    Has anyone come across this error when attempting to save a change document to the document detail? I’ve attempted to save this multiple times and I get this message. This hasn’t happened with any other documents that I’ve worked with. I’ve tried to see about changing the extension itself (it’s a Word doc), well more like saving it again as a .docx to see if that helped at all- it didn’t. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
