We have recently upgraded to IQM 7.10.  Users have reported that two people are unable to open a Microsoft Office document (Word, Excel, etc.) at the same time.  When the 2nd user tried to open the same document, they receive a Q-Pulse “file not found” error message.  We do not embed our documents.  PDF documents do not have this issue.Is there a fix for this?  Outside of IQM, in this situation, the 2nd user would receive a message to the effect of “the file is in use, would you like to open a read-only version”.  The “file not found” error from IQM is very generic.

Hi all,I hope all are well. This is my first time to post.I work in medical physics in the UK.  With regards to the Quality Management product, is there a way to automate the downloading of controlled files from the server? I am aware of accessing file via the via the document retrieval service. It works nicely for individual files but can this process be automated for multiple files (say a few hundred)? Or can all files under a given doc type category be download in bulk / single zipped file etc We want to have a local back up copy of our files on our remote Quality Management server in case we ever lose connection to the server (sever fault, internet provider fault, during upgrades etc)?  Have a nice day. RegardsAnthony Murray,Clinical Scientist

There is currently one “Occurrence created” message in the “Customisation - Messaging” section of the admin panel in version 7.7.0.0. Is it possible to create a second “Occurrence created” message that can be sent to conditional reciepients instead of the existing one?

Good day, all.I have been investigating how ideagen mail manager (or oneplace mail) processes client data (looking at it from a security perspective).I cannot find any documentation as to what is processed outside the M365 tenant (some data seems to be sent outside the tenant). I recently tried to hyperlink a controlled document in Ideagen Quality Management system by Copy-and-Paste the URL into a Word document. After hyperlinking it, I returned to Ideagen to open the Document Tree to verify, the document disappeared.It still shows up on my Advanced search, so the item still exists. I also looked up the Audit Trail and it did not show anything happened to the document. Can anyone help?

Hello, When you have users that leave the business and you archive them, when they have outstanding actions like Document acknowledgements, is there any way you can do this easily? Currently I have to reassign ownership to an admin account and sign them off myself with a comment. Is there anything else that other users do that works better?Thanks, Kay

What are best practices when setting up competencies, job roles, and training events so that the system can identify what the training needs are? When employees change competencies or job roles, will the training need to be redone to reflect the updated changes?

Currently, it the dashboard permissions are View or View Confidential.I think it would be much better if you could assign dashboard permissions to individuals so that you reduce clutter on the Home screen, especially as more dashboard items become available and you can increase the scope of them. Currently I have approximately 30 dashboards covering various aspects of the QMS, utilising different views and this can be a bit of an eyesore, especially when not every individual who has access needs it for all of them.

How do you segregate audits? ie just see supplier audits for the year or internal audits for the year?

Hi, I’d like to be able to incorporate info from more than one of the Custom Fields in a workflow into the Inbox Display name. Is there a creative workaround to make that possible? For example, I want the Inbox Display name for PTs to show the Assigned Examiner name and the test ID.
