Date System Limitations in Ideagen Quality Management – suggested improvement.

Recently we requested for Ideagen to develop the way the due date system works to improve functionality and save on time wastage within the business.The current workload functionality is set at the template stage and is purely based on the raised date. This is great in theory, but in the real world, it leads to a lack of efficiency & requires considerable manual intervention with the need for micro-managing all the due dates of stages & actions within the system.As an FYI some of our Q-Pulse processes have 15 or more stages with multiple tasks within each stage.Scenario - We have a process that involves three sequential stages, the current methodology has defined dates as follows:The first stage due date is preset 7 days from the raised date, the second stage due date is preset 12 days from the raised date, and the third stage due date is 16 days from the raised date.In theory, the task will be completed in 16 days and no dates will ever be changed.However, what if the first st

Hello. For users who moved to SaaS, are you having trouble uploading audit evidence when using the mobile APP? For us the APP uploads the checklist but does not upload the evidence. Ideagen has been of no help so far. Very frustrating.

ECCAIRS-Compatible Reporting in Ideagen Quality Management: Looking for Best Practices

Hello everyone,I am the Safety Manager at LOT Polish Airlines, and we are in the process of introducing ECCAIRS-compatible reports into our system. We are currently using Ideagen Quality Management: Professional, and we've successfully imported all the necessary fields into our system.The challenge we're facing is with providing a user-friendly experience for our pilots and other employees to submit these reports. ECCAIRS requires a significant number of fields to be filled out, many of which are either unnecessary for the initial submission or should/can be completed at a later stage by the flight safety inspectors. We are concerned that this complexity might discourage individuals from reporting and make a template of a report hard to fill out.On the web reporting portal, we can hide certain fields from the reporter, but unfortunately, this functionality does not seem to be available on the mobile app, which many of our employees may use for convenience.How are you handling this issu

How do we move an Approved Document from Draft to Draft Approved when we do not have the Draft Approved Option?

In the Q-Pulse Documents desktop version we are having trouble moving an approved document from Draft to Draft Approved. The document has actions on it that need completed in the Document Approved phase. We only have to option to move the document to Active. How do we fix this issue?

In QPulse Desktop Occurrence module couldn't load records

In Q-Pulse desktop records couldn’t be load in the grid for one of my QPulse database. It shows error “Error occurred during processing server request ‘Object refference not set to an object ………...’”. However, if I put filters like for specific type or specific date it shows empty right number of rows with the same error.Workaround:I restart services as suggested by support.I restarted IIS as suggested by support.But no luck till now.

Document review action outstanding

Hi, We have one ‘Document review action outstanding’ showing up in the advanced workload of Q-Pulse. Clicking on the red flag does not lead to a document and it’s driving me insane! Any ideas on how to resolve it please? I have checked every active document for review actions using advanced searches and had no luck.

Can you add events without completing them?

Hi Community!Is there a way to restrict the permissions so a user could add an event, but not complete it? For example, I would like a training user to create their own event, but then a training manager would be required to check the record before marking it as complete? Thanks,Kate

Is it possible to remane "user defined additional fields" within the CAPA module of v6?

Hi, I am hoping that someone may be able to advise. I am currently using a user defined section of the CAPA module to collate additional information within the reports and was wondering if it is possible to rename this heading from “user defined” to something more appropriate that other users within our QMS would be able to find?

Hi All, I have been tasked to create a new report for our outstanding document acknowledgements >30 days.I have tried to use the normal parameters that i use to get from the document module list but when I go to the report designer there is no way to add 30 days in the filter string section.Can anyone point me in the right direction at all?

Master Competencies with Multiple Levels

Hi All, I’m new to Q-Pulse and am currently trying to set up the People module to use for training.I have successfully applied Master Competencies to Job Roles which then populate the training plan with all of the requirements in one level.However, where I have set up a Master Competency with two levels, only one level is applying to the job role.In the Master Competency section the two levels of requirements are bundled together. However they are split as two separate lines when I come to apply them to the Job Role. Can anyone help with where I am going wrong? I am hoping to have one level with activities that are required to be completed, and then the other level will link the required SOPs. Thanks,Kate

Document module Group Editing

We love all the functionality the IQM document module has to offer, and we utilize all of it. We have large projects that include hundreds of data records which are linked by using related documents. There are times where new metadata will be added, we do often use a placeholder if we anticipate an addition. If there was a group edit function for Properties, it would prevent us to open each record’s properties to add this new metadata. We also share data with our suppliers and customers using Ideagen Huddle, the data in Huddle is hyperlinked to IQM so if there is a change our supplier/customer has the current revision. To notify them of the revision change we add them to the Notify Only in Distribution. Here again it can be hundreds of data records, so a group edit for the Distribution function would be very valuable to us.

Changing a stage name

Hello - does anyone know if there is a way to change the name of a stage in the Customer module? I want to change the name of the “Compliments” stage to something else. Any compliments we receive (and let’s face it, there won’t be many...) will be added in the properties.
