We’ve just updated to 7.8.1.1 and are having loads of issues with searching and multi layer lists in most modules. Is anyone else having the same problems?
Yes I have this issue too, the searches are bringing up too many items. I have raised a support ticket
There was a change made to searching in Client as of release 7.8.1 - it now uses full text search behaviour. For example, if you used to search for a document number ABC-PRO-, you would only get documents that included that exact string. Now, it will split that into ABC and PRO, and return any results that match either term, hence far more results for your search.
It doesn’t affect IQM Web.
It is currently being investigated by the IQM development team.
