    Escalations and alerts

    We had a problem with no escalations and alerts coming thorough (now resolved) but some one suggested that if any conditional notifications are set up then the regular notifications will not go through. I have  been trying to develop a test but not got very far, has any one experienced this.  For example:  I have a reminder for CAPA stage over due to the stage owner and want this to go to all stage owners but I also want to send this to some managers depending on the CAPA source so I enabled conditional recipientsI think this should alert every stage owner for over due stages but also alert the QC team and the Non-conformance owner for the records that meet these ad

    "Recorded by" field in CAPA Wizard

    Good afternoon, I’m wondering what the “recorded by” field that’s available in the CAPA Wizard links to in the template? I assumed it might be linked to the “raised by” or similar, but if I add this field to a CAPA wizard and enter data into it (e.g. my name), I haven’t then been able to find that anywhere in the CAPA that’s raised from the template. Thanks, Anna

    Problem with Incident Status in E5X Format

    Dear support, We have a request concerning the conversion of occurences in E5X format. This request concerns the field "Status".Actually, we changed the "Status" field from "Pending" to "To Review".So now, we have the three following status:- Open- To Review- ClosedFor example, I have attached an exemple of an occurence (VSR-304) with Status: "To Review". See screenshot in attachment.We would like when we transform it to E5X format, the Status "To Review" becomes "3" (the same as when Status is "Closed"), such as follow:Open --> <Report_Status>2</Report_Status>To Review --> <Report_Status>3</Report_Status>Closed --> <Report_Status>3</Report_Status> In attachment, you will find the Transform file that we use.When I use it with an incident with a "To Review” status, the <Report_Status> field does not appear anymore in the E5

    What's the difference between using a workflow scheduler and expiring a workflow instance?

    Hello,I am not totally sure what the difference between these two features in IQM is, and when the best time to pick to use the scheduler is vs the embedded expiration feature. Any clarity?Thanks!

    Search for activities with no next activity scheduled

    Morning,  we’ve had some issues where no new activity was scheduled after an activity was performed. I.e. there is no due date that would notify users to make sure asset activities (e.g. calibrations) are being carried out. Manually going through and regularly reviewing the entire asset list to ensure all activities are scheduled correctly seems a bit tedious, so we’ve been trying to come up with a way to search for a list of all assets that have got an activity scheduled against it - but no due date set for the next activity. We’ve not had much luck with setting up an appropriate search. It seems that it’s only possible to search activities that are already scheduled in an activity type, but we haven’t found a way to search for an activity types that haven’t got a future activity scheduled. Any ideas? Thanks, Anna

    HiWe are new to the Ideagen system.  We are doing some testing in the system and cannot work out why someone can’t approve a document.  The approve “stamp” below is greyed out.Is this a permission issue?I look forward to your wise replies.RegardsSS

    Raising NCs using the wizard within CAPA module - Is there way to prepopulate the NC detail?

    During an audit, several Non-conformances may be found. When I don’t have a built in checklist for a particular audit, I currently have to create a new NC using the wizard each time or select a previous NC and create another record via the ‘New Based on’ functionality.Both options seem a little time consuming when there are a number of NCs to raise against the same department/during the same audit. Has anyone been able to configure the audit/Capa module/wizard to allow for the system to remember previously entered details such as my user name (Raised by); the Department (against), Source, owner, CAPA severity and extent… etc.? Grateful for any shortcut suggestions.

    Document Module - Inactive / Obsolete Document URLS

    When using the document retrieval system (DRS) to obtain URLs for active documents we currently use the version specific option ,    however we are finding when the document is revised ,    if users have used the link in related documents ,  the link surfaces previous versions .        Is there a way to stop URLs working for Obsolete / Inactive issues to ensure users surface the most current issue .    Any advice appreciated  Thanks

    Audit APP not uploading audit evidence

    Hello. For users who moved to SaaS, are you having trouble uploading audit evidence when using the mobile APP? For us the APP uploads the checklist but does not upload the evidence. Ideagen has been of no help so far. Very frustrating.

    How do we move an Approved Document from Draft to Draft Approved when we do not have the Draft Approved Option?

    In the Q-Pulse Documents desktop version we are having trouble moving an approved document from Draft to Draft Approved. The document has actions on it that need completed in the Document Approved phase. We only have to option to move the document to Active. How do we fix this issue?

    ECCAIRS-Compatible Reporting in Ideagen Quality Management: Looking for Best Practices

    Hello everyone,I am the Safety Manager at LOT Polish Airlines, and we are in the process of introducing ECCAIRS-compatible reports into our system. We are currently using Ideagen Quality Management: Professional, and we've successfully imported all the necessary fields into our system.The challenge we're facing is with providing a user-friendly experience for our pilots and other employees to submit these reports. ECCAIRS requires a significant number of fields to be filled out, many of which are either unnecessary for the initial submission or should/can be completed at a later stage by the flight safety inspectors. We are concerned that this complexity might discourage individuals from reporting and make a template of a report hard to fill out.On the web reporting portal, we can hide certain fields from the reporter, but unfortunately, this functionality does not seem to be available on the mobile app, which many of our employees may use for convenience.

    In QPulse Desktop Occurrence module couldn't load records

    In Q-Pulse desktop records couldn’t be load in the grid for one of my QPulse database. It shows error “Error occurred during processing server request ‘Object refference not set to an object ………...’”. However, if I put filters like for specific type or specific date it shows empty right number of rows with the same error.Workaround:I restart services as suggested by support.I restarted IIS as suggested by support.But no luck till now.

    Document review action outstanding

    Hi, We have one ‘Document review action outstanding’ showing up in the advanced workload of Q-Pulse. Clicking on the red flag does not lead to a document and it’s driving me insane! Any ideas on how to resolve it please? I have checked every active document for review actions using advanced searches and had no luck.

    Can you add events without completing them?

    Hi Community!Is there a way to restrict the permissions so a user could add an event, but not complete it? For example, I would like a training user to create their own event, but then a training manager would be required to check the record before marking it as complete? Thanks,Kate

    Document Control : Deadline to Acknowledge

    Is it possible to remane "user defined additional fields" within the CAPA module of v6?

    Hi, I am hoping that someone may be able to advise. I am currently using a user defined section of the CAPA module to collate additional information within the reports and was wondering if it is possible to rename this heading from “user defined” to something more appropriate that other users within our QMS would be able to find?

    Report Designer - creating a list from using the filter string Notified Date not within 30 days

    Hi All, I have been tasked to create a new report for our outstanding document acknowledgements >30 days.I have tried to use the normal parameters that i use to get from the document module list but when I go to the report designer there is no way to add 30 days in the filter string section.Can anyone point me in the right direction at all?
