Document acknowledgement permissions and visibility

I’m looking for guidance on best practices for requesting employees to acknowledge a document in the system without allowing them to acknowledge it on behalf of someone else. Unfortunately, at the moment this is possible, and I haven’t been able to find a way to restrict that permission.
Additionally, is there a way to limit the visibility of the acknowledgement actions, so that each employee only sees the acknowledgement line associated with their own name, rather than seeing acknowledgement actions for all employees across the company?
The screenshot below shows our current setup, which is what’s currently visible to all users.
Any advice on configuration and permissions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

However, if you assign the permission to the dynamic group “Document copyholder” then they will only be able to do that on their own acknowledgements. The dynamic groups have a red question mark in the windows interface but have a slightly different appearance in the web interface.

If you use the document copyholder dynamic group, do you have to then assign people individually vs using the copyholder templates? It makes sense to limit the ability for others to acknowledge documents for others. This is thought-provoking.
