      Reoccurring document reviews – assign to a group

      HelloIs it possible to assign a reoccurring document review to a group of people? I want it so a group get notified and any member of the group will be able to conduct a review.I have around 200 documents that need to be checked every 3 months.       Hi Fellow Users!I have inherited a database without user security groups, instead all users have documents (full Access) or no access. I have created a new document type and a user group (for new users) that restricts those new users to only viewing the new document type but…Is there a way to restrict the document reviews for existing users with documents (full Access) so they can’t view the new document type I’ve created- basically I want to avoid the huge job of redefining access levels through the removal of documents (full access)Hope someone out there can please help…

      We are attempting to drive an integration with PleaseReview via a custom app. To do so, we have attempted to create a trusted client in our portal, and call ListLoginMethods and Login1.       How to group mandatory document acknowledgements for new starters

      I’m looking for advice on how to set up the Documents module more efficiently for the following scenario.We have several documents that are mandatory reading for new starters and require formal acknowledgement. Currently, this process is very admin-heavy. When a new employee joins, I add them to the People module, then for each individual document I have to manually add their name in the Distribution tab and the Copyholder/Acknowledgement field so they can acknowledge it. This has to be repeated for every mandatory document.Is there a way to group these acknowledgements for new starters, so that all required documents are assigned at once rather than individually?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

      HAVS Operator Exposure Alert emails

      Our company has been using Reactec wearable technology for HAVS for a number of years. We had been set up for receiving operator exposure email alerts for when operators exceed the HAVS EAV or ELV. These emails have stopped since the admin portal changed from Reactec to Ideagen & I can't find how to switch the email alerts back on. Any help on switching the operator exposure alert emails back on would be appreciated. Thank you.

      No-downtime US Production Update (2.64.3.1) Thursday, June 25, 2026

      We're deploying a patch to US Production during the afternoon of Thursday, June 25, 2026, to resolve some module caching issues, as well as an issue with certain search notifications and grid exports. Because of this patch, we're delaying delivering 2.64.3 to the EU/Canada Production and GovCloud Production data centers until Monday, June 29, 2026.  The release notes for this patch are available here. As always, please contact us with any questions or concerns.

      Upcoming infrastructure migration

      What you need to knowNext month, we will be migrating our US production environment to new infrastructure. This is the final phase of a multi-stage process — we have already completed and validated migrations of our Build/Test and UAT environments, so we are confident in the approach heading into production. When is this happening?The migration is scheduled for July 10th from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM EDT. That window is intentionally conservative — we expect to complete the work well before 8:00 AM. Why are we doing this?This move gives us a more flexible and resilient foundation, which means better reliability and service delivery for you going forward. What is the expected impact?There will be a planned downtime of up to 8 hours during the migration window.       Version Change Impact Assessment

      Hello My company currently use IdeaGen Q-Pulse, Management System V7.1 (specifically version 7.1.5.2), specifically the module document control (we do not use any other module). This version of Q-Pulse will run out of contracted Supplier support next March 2027 and we are looking to upgrade to the latest version from IdeaGen, v7.10.We need to understand the functional changes between v7.1.5.2. through to the latest release, as set out in IdeaGen release notes. Looking at the link for release notes it only goes as far as v7.5. I would be grateful if I could have access to all release notes since v7.1.5.2 so I can complete a full impact assessment. Where can I access all release notes. Many thanks

      What's Coming in Ideagen EHSQ Enterprise — June 2026

      We're releasing version 2.64.4 of Ideagen EHSQ Enterprise on 25 June 2026.Here's what's improved.What's newFaster record creation from the dashboard — the old buried “Create New” button has been replaced with a role-tailored Quick Create toolbar at the top of each dashboard, giving users one-click access to their most-used record types (e.g. New Incident, New Permit) without navigating away. Admins configure which buttons appear per dashboard and per team. Cleaner, less cluttered screens — the record initiation screen now hides the nav rail, breadcrumbs, and excess controls so users can focus on filling in the form. Required fields now show a progress bar (“1 of 14 complete”) with a dropdown that jumps directly to any outstanding field, replacing the old competing side panel. Admins get new configuration power (act before go-live on 25 June 2026) — Quick Create toolbars, org logo white-labelling in the header, module icons/colours in the Create New modal, and a new “Grid: Button Menus”

      LSRF vs Repository Folder

      A while back, someone from support reviewed our setup and told us we need to create an LSRF folder separate from our Repository folder that we had used for years.  So we created a network share folder called AM_LSRF and gave access to the Q Pulse users.  I noticed that in the new AM_LSRF folder we created, it has some of the same folders that are in the original repository folder, but the original repository folder has many more folders in it.In the Setup Options for Q Pulse, should we direct everyone to the AM_LSRF folder and then remove the duplicate folders that are in the original repository folder?It’s kinda crazy that in order to use Q Pulse at our company, you need access to both of those folders and access to the database.  None of it really makes sense to any of us here.

      Retrieving original Document after PDF conversion & attachment change

      Hello,We really like the feature that allows us to convert a document (Word, Excel etc.) to a PDF. This can be done either when activating a draft, or when submitting for approval.Of course, we can also convert back again: When an active document is revised into a new draft/active document, and the checkbox to base the new file on a copy of the old is selected, the original attachment (Word/Excel) is made available again. This is great. We don’t need to keep backup copies of the original in other locations (file server etc.).However, in a few cases, such as when needing to make a minor adjustment or typo correction after a document has been made active, but without going through the full revision process, it’s more difficult.This is perhaps an edge case.Example workflow that leads to this issue:Create a Draft document, upload Word file, Activate and Convert to PDF Note a small mistake in the active document. Edit the document, delete the attachment, upload a new file and save.The probl

      Is there a way to get the Revision Number of a document into a footer that will automatically update when a new revision is published? Have had no luck with creating this so far and hoping someone has had success with this issue before.

      Permissions for adding attachments in CAPA wizards only

      Good evening, I’ve got a question regarding permissions for CAPA wizard. We would like to give users the ability to add an attachment in a CAPA wizard. And while we can attachments to the wizards, users with “create CA/PA via wizard” permissions are not able to add an attachment. We don’t want to statically assign ‘CA/PA edit attachments’ permissions as we only would like the option of adding attachments in the wizard rather than all users being able to edit attachments in CA/PAs at a later date. Is there a way to achieve this via the wizard? Thanks, Anna
