    Using the deputy function in administration

    I want to use the deputy function in the administration module for a staff member who will be away a fixed period.  I believe this should send all the CAPA and document notifications and escalations to the deputy and allow them to action against his name. Is this correct? Does any one have any experience of using this function? Thanks Paul

    People Module

    Hi , how to create people in the People module and then assign them a Q-Pulse login in the Administration module.Actually i added a user profile on People module and added all training records then realized had not created the user via Administration module. I want to link this profile to the administration module as need to create log in id as well. I checked in the setting i wasnt able to find anything.     Deleting selected records, that are potentially linked across different modules

    I need to delete selected records, in particular submitted occurrence forms; due to data retention  requirements/regulations. this would require running a search against a bespoke date field and then deleting in bulk (probably 100s or more likely thousands at a time). this process would need to also delete any linked Incident and CAPA records at the same time. There's no obvious function i can see to do this, unless anyone can advise differently?alternative would be to commission a bespoke SQL script to perform this activity, which we’d then run again annually. anyone ever done anything similar. and/or how do other clients deal with data retention requirements?

    IQM Pro v7.5.0.0: Has anyone managed to close an Action within an Incident Stage, and the software not request an electronic signature before? (With a standard user account, not Admin).

    Luminate Skills to supercede Ideagen Academy?

    With the launch of Luminate, will the Ideagen Academy be archived/ceased as it appears that the majority of courses/training are now available within the Skills section of Luminate. if this is the case, will users be able to link any completed courses with their People record on IQM via a manual sync process (as we do now with the Academy)?

    Documents: Creating User Defined Fields that are bound at the revision level

    Hi! I am trying to create a method of tracking regulatory reporting requirements for changes made to documents. For context, I am using the Windows desktop client version 7.6.0.0. I started by testing out customizing a user defined field via custom fields & managed lists that lists the different types of regulatory reporting that may be required with a document update.Training environment - Document Properties Editor, Additional FieldsThe problem I ran into with this is that changes made to the user defined field were bound at the document level, so when I changed the reporting requirement for a new revision, it changed previous revisions as well, which causes a problem when we are pulling lists of document changes for our annual report and a document has updated multiple times within a year.We hav

    Permission to download documents

    Hi Everyone,We’re working on refining our permissions in the document management module, and I’m looking for a bit of guidance on how to restrict document downloads. Here's the situation:I’d like to set things up so that only the document owner can download their documents. For example, only the Environmental Manager should be able to download environmental documents — and not anyone else from the Environmental team or other departments. Do you think there is way to set permissions this way? Thanks again for all the help this week!

    I am currently testing Ideagen before we transfer from Qualtrax. I created workflows with no problem. However, the email actions are not going out to anyone.. Is this an Ideagen test problem or is it a problem for out IT department?

    Q-Pulse FAI Form 3

    Our company has 1 seat for Q-Pulse FAI.  We originally got the program back from Visual Fair.  Been using this for quite some time. Today I tried to create a FAI like normal.  Forms 1 & 2 came out as expected.  However, after ballooning 3 pages of characteristics, I went to Form 3 and there were multiple pages shown at the bottom.  Each one had 13 characteristics listed.  In total there are 7 pages.  There has only been one page up till now.  Am I doing something incorrectly or was there and upgrade to add pages to eliminate scrolling?Any help, advise will be appreciated….

    Q-Pulse Excel Functionality?

    Hello!I’m wondering if anyone has had success with uploading excel documents into Q-Pulse with headers that will pull the active date of the document? (Similar to how the word plug-in does for MS word documents). We have some validated spreadsheets that we use and I couldnt find information on if there is any excel based functionality or plugin.

    Issue with Requirements Marrix

    HIWe are using version 7.7.0.When viewing the Requirements matrix from the web app and the desktop app, where the person has a requirement for a certain course that is a renewable event, the matrix is not showing the renewed status when it has been renewed.Any thoughts?

    Add custom fields to column chooser?

    Hello, we’re attempting to export data from our modules, however there is detailed information from fields we customized specific for our occurrences. Is there a way we can bring in custom columns to those tables to sort through and export? I know there is the report function, but we’re having difficulty generating that. To me, it seems like the verbiage we can select is not connected to the items we’ve created in our fields. Thank you for your help.

    Asset Activity report / list view with frequency

    Good afternoon, is there a way to show the frequency of scheduled activities in the list view / a report? I’d like to have a list that shows all activities scheduled over the next year and whether they’ve got an annual frequency. When I add the “period” column; it just says “fixed”.The activity record then states for the period, e.g. “The recurring period is set for 1 Year”. Is there any way to show this frequency in the list view or pull that into a report for all activities?Thanks, Anna

    I have attempted to set up a dashboard to monitor incidents and occurrences. This is what I have so far…The issue that I have is with the combo boxes and the subsequent data displayed. Here, the combo boxes are set to show August 2025 records, the pie charts all show the correct number of records (9), chart 1 and grid 1 do not (you can see here that the grid shows records from May and July).The combo boxes have 'incident' as a data source as do the pie charts. Chart 1 and Grid 1 have 'occurrences' as a data source we have to set the grid up on the occurrences data source to access all of the required fields.If I amend the data source for the combo boxes to 'occurrences' then all of the subsequent plots show incorrect amounts of data.Additionally, the hyperlinks that we were provided do not work

    Q-Pulse Mobile App - First time install

    Hi everyone,I have being asked to get the IQM (AKA Q-Pulse) Mobile app up and going for Audit.  I got IT to place the App onto an Ipad.  The screen at the very start of my Log In. asks for the Server URL.  To which my IT have put the DRS link.  When I then they the Advance Username and password I get a message stating UNAUTHORIZED - You are not authorized to connect to this server.  Please use advanced settings to enter a network account.I was so excited to get this for Audit but 7 days later and the joy has left me. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.  Thanks in advance.Version 7.3 in an apple ipad i think.  I am not tech minded.

    CA/PA Edit Additional Fields - Permission

    Despite having assigned a user group the ‘CA/PA Edit Additional Fields Permission’ in the CA/PA Module, the entire Additional Fields sections remains greyed out for them. I have populated it with a dropdown to select from in User Field 1 and I can use the dropdown on records with my system admin access, but the users cannot regardless of whether I add the permission to the dynamic role(s) or their relevant static permission group. Any idea what’s preventing this from working???

    Broken Rules: Only one scheduled activity item is allowed per activity definition

    Staff have recently reported being unable to complete certain cleaning activities in a specific location.To summarize: we have four distinct cleaning tasks (e.g., Cleaning – Section A, Cleaning – Section B, etc.) assigned to various staff members within the same location. Up until two weeks ago, these tasks were being completed without issue. However, since then, a “Broken Rules” error message has been appearing when staff attempt to complete these activities. As a user with admin privileges, I’ve been manually completing the tasks on their behalf, but we haven’t yet identified the root cause of the issue.Does anyone have insight into what might be causing this or suggestions for a potential solution?Thanks!

    Hi All,My name is Tamena Yousaf and I am leading the implementation of our new Q-Pulse Electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) at JointMedica as an Interim Consultant to assist them with going live with Q-pulse. I have previously implemented eQMS’s using Q-pulse and MasterControl.  Upon joining JointMedica, I have found that the level of support has been limited which has caused us delays and leaves us with unanswered questions.We plan to go live with the Documents Module mid November, we currently use desktop client, version 7.7.0.0 and are considering using the Web version instead as this desktop client version is different to what I have implemented previously as does not appear as user friendly to what I am used to.  Upon requesting Ideagen for support to access the Web version link we are seeing delays in response times and support - is this due to being on the Essentials package?Can anyone advise and support us while we look into upgrading to a
