Welcome to Ideagen Community. We’re continually working hard to make more and more of our forums available for our customers. We don’t have any forums open just yet for our Internal Audit / Risk solutions (previously known as Pentana), but we will make sure to prioritise this going forward.

Thanks, Mr. Brown! That would be great! Despite the current lack of such a forum, I'm thrilled to learn more about the new direction Ideagen is taking in Internal Audit/Risk solutions.

Hello everyone,

My name is Chris Smith w/Plexus in Neenah Wisconsin (about 20min South of Green Bay).  Plexus is a Global contract manufacturer of Electronic Circuit Assemblies as well as Higher Level Assembly Builds.  I have been in this industry for 33yrs and am currently a Digital Systems Engineer for the last 7yrs.  But most of my career as a Process Engineer in manufacturing.

We currently use Ideagen software as our First Article Inspection solution, particularly for our Aerospace customers.

Hoping this new community provides guidance and solutions for issues and questions as they arise from not not Ideagen.  But possibly other CM’s within our industry using this software as well.

Great to see a general community thread going in here.

I’m Adam and I work as a Standards & Compliance Manager for one of the larger UK train operating companies. I am primarly responsible for ISO 9001 compliance (including a small team of auditors and compliance specialists) but I am also supporting ISO 55001 and ISO 45001 across the business by guiding and implementing best practice in management systems. Additionally, I am now the primary admin for Q-Pulse for all depts across the organisation (as well as a few other smaller software packages). 

I am hoping to both get support out of and also provide support into the Ideagen Community … you are never to old to learn and there are always areas that can be improved and processes that can be made more efficient - even after 20+ years QMS experience!

I’m looking forward to sharing and learning in equal measure via this forum.

It would be helpful if these organisations were using the training module to measure both initial and ongoing competence.

My name is Robert, and I am a Risk Management Systems Senior Officer (InPhase Lead) at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust!

My role is the development and day to day management of InPhase within our Trust, from supporting staff with any queries, setting up users and updating profiles, developing and implementing improvements and updates to adapt to need, to arranging and leading on training sessions, so everyone can get the benefits of using InPhase for their role.

Hi all, 

I've been using Visual Fair software since 2009, when we first started using it, we recommended certain features that were implemented during updates. Its good to know the developers actually listen. 

I've since worked for 2 companies since here and implemented Visual Fair.

Some of the staff  know me now due to my passion for the software.  I've even got some of my customers past and present purchasing the software and enjoying the benefits it brings in the reduction of inspection errors / cert pack errors etc. Some of them being big in the Nuclear and Oil & Gas industry but originally Medical Devices. 

The companies that Ive dealt with have found one of the main benefits is the ease of identifying non-conformances in the dimensional reports, along with reduction in full cert pack documentation errors identified by customers on receipt.  The admin creating the final cert pack do not need to understand engineering drawings etc through using this software, if somethings red or missing they can knock it back to the right department 

Im the QA Manager for the parent company that has several sub companies, but having started on the shopfloor I also love the benefit when inspecting of being able to zoom in on the drawing and picking the sizes that use the same measurement equipment easily etc. 

My name is Kamila , and I work as a Quality Officer in the Pathology department at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. In my role, I focus on maintaining and improving quality standards across laboratory services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. I’m particularly involved in auditing and monitoring documentation processes, to help reduce delays and enhance operational efficiency. I started my adventure with QMS( formerly known as Q-Pulse) when I first join Pathology 10 years ago and it proven to be valuable tool to monitor  all branches of Quality within department. We have several production and distribution locations in the United States.  I’m happy to join this forum and connect with other users of the Ideagen Safefood 360 platform. Our company has been using Safefood 360 since 2021, and we’ve found it to be a very effective tool for managing both food safety and quality programs.

I’ve worked in the food industry for 37 years and have always believed in the value of sharing processes, experiences, and ideas to strengthen the industry as a whole. I’m really looking forward to learning from others and contributing to discussions on best practices and ways to get the most out of the Ideagen Safefood 360 platform.

I am a food safety and quality consultant with almost 25 years of experience in the food industry.  My experience with SafeFood 360 has been through working with Honeyville on various projects over the last several years.  The majority of companies I work for are smaller and still rely on Excel and Word documents.  Whenever possible I do show them the functionalities in SafeFood that would be improvements over managing their food safety and quality systems using MSOffice.

My name is Jordi, and I’m currently leading the implementation of Ideagen Quality Management Professional (aka Q-Pulse) at Unilabs, a pan-European diagnostics company operating across laboratory, pathology, and imaging services.

We’re rolling out Q-Pulse as a core component of our quality and compliance ecosystem, with a strong focus on harmonising processes across countries, supporting regulatory requirements, and driving a more consistent, data-driven quality culture. My role spans system design, configuration decisions, stakeholder engagement, and change management across the organisation.
