We're excited to share the latest updates to Ideagen Safe Food. Our July release brings richer document intelligence data, more dependable dashboards, and stronger platform security, along with a handful of fixes based directly on your feedback.

⭐ Document Intelligence Assistant gets richer document and review data

Why this matters: The Document and Document Review APIs now return full record detail, including complete metadata on GET by ID calls and filterable, paginated results when listing reviews. If you or your integration partners build on these APIs, you can now pull everything you need in fewer calls.

⭐ See a supplier’s full risk picture in one place

Why this matters: The Supplier Details dashlet now shows an "Overall Risk Status" field reflecting the most recent risk set by any workflow, Full Assessment, Supplier Performance Review, or Supplier Audit, rather than just the Full Assessment. The colour-coded status matches what you already see in the supplier list, so you get a consistent, up-to-date view of risk wherever you look.

⭐ Platform security hardening

Why this matters: We upgraded Apache Tomcat and patched a JavaScript charting library. No action is needed on your end, your data stays protected as the platform keeps getting more secure.

⭐ Polish translation added for Food Safety Team

Why this matters: Food Safety Team content under the Food Safety plan is now available in Polish, making it easier for Polish-speaking teams to work in their preferred language.

⭐ Fixes and polish

We've also tidied up a few things behind the scenes this month:

• Fixed an issue where new roles could not be created while a recall was in close-out status
• Fixed the audit responsible field being incorrectly carried over into Corrective Actions
• Fixed an issue where supplier folders could go missing
• Fixed approval status, approval type, and scope of approval not updating correctly on performance review records after supplier changes
• Fixed a map display issue on the Supplier summary and Customer details pages
• Enlarged and darkened checkboxes across the application for better visibility and accessibility

Good to know: some of these fixes were rolled out progressively across the month as part of our regular release cycle.
