We're excited to share the latest updates to Ideagen Safe Food. This month's releases bring continued dashboard modernisation, new API capabilities, platform security improvements, and important fixes based on your feedback.
⭐ Customer Master Data API
Why this matters: Managing customer data across multiple systems can be time-consuming and error-prone. The new Customer Master Data API lets you synchronise customer records directly into Ideagen Safe Food from external systems such as your CRM, keeping your data accurate and up to date automatically. This joins our growing suite of Master Data APIs covering Suppliers, Materials, Employees, Documents, and Final Products.
What's new:
- Customer records can now be created and kept in sync via API integration
- Reduces manual data entry and administrative overhead for your team
⭐ Continued Dashboard Modernisation

Bug resolved in this area:
- Supplier Contact Summary dashlet now displays the most recent data correctly, rather than showing historical data only

We've resolved a number of customer-reported issues this release, including fixes for:
- Dashboard & visibility — actions, documents pending review/approval, and dashboard views not displaying correctly
- Notifications & workflow — notifications not sending and email errors in workflow processes
- Configuration & reporting — Documents Overview Reports updated to improve accuracy and consistency of results; scheduling validation and interface visibility issues resolved
