While we are starting fresh on this new platform, I need to raise the question that I am most commonly asked about Ideagen EHS Core - formerly Lucidity.
- What exactly is the limiting factor that is preventing the implementation of the Competency Module (i.e the ability to complete e-Learning) via the App?
Currently 95% of our work force utilises the App for the majority of their use of the software, but still need to use the desktop version to complete their inductions / e-Learning. We have force loaded a link to the desktop site onto all the company managed mobile devices, but a large portion of our workforce use their personal devices to access the App, meaning we have had to explain that the app if for forms etc, and the desktop site is for e-learning and show them how to bookmark a web page (which was quite an undertaking for some less tech savvy demographics of our workforce).
I understand something like this needs significant software development, but the question remains;

Great question!
The short answer is yes 😊
Enabling users to complete learning and training on the mobile app is on the horizon!
We are planning a huge overhaul of the mobile app over the next 12 month and we will be addressing this as part of that work.
The goal is to bring a number of features to the app to make it simpler and easier to complete everyday tasks and this includes completing inductions and e-learning courses.
In addition to this we’ll be looking to include AI assistants to help complete tasks and reduce the need for users to manually enter information.
I’ll be sharing more updates in the next few months about the changes coming to the mobile app. Stay tuned!
