Hi @corrie, while this doesn't answer your question on how others have set up reflective practice, you could try adding a reflective practice section to your events form. Section permissions address your concern about who can see it.

To add the section:

1. In Question Manager, select Events and open your events questionnaire.
2. Select Question Builder and click +.
3. Give the section a name, such as Reflective practice.
4. Set up the section's settings, then click Save & Overwrite to update the current version of the questionnaire.

Three of the section's settings are useful here:

• Permissions: select Restrict access to these groups, then choose which groups can View or Edit the questions in the section.
• When To Show: show the section only in certain workflow stages, or only when an answer rule is met, for example once the event has been reviewed.
• Enable Tasks: lets users add tasks to the section, if you'd rather capture reflection as an action assigned to the person involved. Tasks can only be created once the record has moved beyond the New workflow stage.

To prompt the right person when the record moves on, the workflow can send Email Notifications on entering a stage, and triggers can set who can view or edit the whole record based on its answers.
