Good evening,

I’ve got a question regarding permissions for CAPA wizard. We would like to give users the ability to add an attachment in a CAPA wizard. And while we can attachments to the wizards, users with “create CA/PA via wizard” permissions are not able to add an attachment.

We don’t want to statically assign ‘CA/PA edit attachments’ permissions as we only would like the option of adding attachments in the wizard rather than all users being able to edit attachments in CA/PAs at a later date.

Is there a way to achieve this via the wizard?

Thanks,

Anna

Hi Anna,

Users with the Create CA/PA via Wizard should be able to add an attachment to the attachment field in the wizard but once they press Finish they won’t be able to do edit it unless you add edit permissions to the dynamic CA/PA Raiser group.

Below is an example of the permissions assigned to a test user:

And below is their access to add an attachment:

Hi Alan,

thanks for your reply. I’ve just tried it in the desktop app as per your screenshots above and that works fine. But in the web application, we get an error if the user tries to add the attachment:

That error occurs when clicking the “add file” button:

Is there a difference in how the CA/PA wizard permission are applied between the web and desktop versions?

Thanks,

Anna

Hi @Anna, this doesn’t look like a permissions issue within IQMP and might be a configuration issue behind the scenes.  If you raise a ticket with our support team they will be able to assist in investigating the issue.
