I am wondering if there are others who are using Quality Managment in Japan or South Korea and how you are getting around the language barrier.  I am hoping these languages will be added in the future upgrades.

Hi @Elana White,

I’ve been speaking with the product manager on this to understand if we’re aware of any push for Japanese or Korean language support. Unfortunately, we don’t have any plans to introduce this as a language option just yet as we haven’t seen any demand.

I’d be curious to know from our community whether we have any Japanese or Korean customers who could share their insights on this. We’d be happy to review this if there’s any demand!

Hi @Samuel Brown,

I work for a global organisation that has been using Q-Pulse for over 5 years. One of the limiting factors for role out to all of our sites is the limited multilingual capabilities particularly within Asia. We would require Japanese, Korean and Mandarin to start. I have to say it’s quite surprising that there are no plans to introduce these languages given competitors already have this functionality.

Hi @Mike Hilditch, we have some updated language support coming for the web interface but unfortunately Japanese, Mandarin and Korean are not part of the update.  We do continually monitor demand for additional language support.

Coming in 7.8:

  • Additional languages to the web client: Swedish, Dutch, Slovak, Norwegian, Danish, Flemish

Already available:

  • All modules are now complete with the existing languages: Italian, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Bosnian, Greek, Turkish, Czech, Croatian, Lithuanian

Hi @Alan Blair,

Thank you for your response and it’s good to hear that Dutch and Danish are being added at the next update. I note Spanish, French, German and Portuguese are missing from the already available list but I was under the impression these languages were available?

I’m really surprised that other clients haven’t requested Japanese, Mandarin or Korean and that there aren’t any Asian languages being considered given the size of the region. We have quite a strong footprint in Asia and so with no clear timelines for these languages it would rule Q-Pulse out of becoming our globally used eQMS. I appreciate we’re a FTSE 100 listed company with several thousands of employees but I can’t imagine we’re the only company with this requirement.
