To have a learning event uploaded to a user’s profile, a completion date is required, as it is a mandatory field by default. This could present a challenge in the scenario you described. However, we will review this and submit it to the product team to see if it’s a feature that could be added in a future release.

In the meantime, there may be a potential workaround depending on your overall objectives:

People Module - Training Plan

By utilising the Training Plan feature within the People Module, users can add their completion date to the required events. Once completed, managers can review and update the competency status accordingly. Additionally, electronic signatures can be enabled for both user and manager activities, providing an extra layer of validation.

Ideagen Academy Professional is our cloud-based e-learning solution, which natively integrates with IQM Pro (Q-Pulse). With Academy, you can create and manage curricula, courses, and quizzes, all while benefiting from built-in comprehensive reporting features. Once a user completes a course in Academy, you can easily update their profile within IQM Pro by syncing the systems.
